I have been saving a special piece of fabric which I purchase from my neighborhood patchwork shop - Patchwork House in Hawthorn, Victoria.

Kathy heard I loved owls so when she showed me this Alexander Henry fabric I knew I had to have it.

The hardest part of making this quilt was choosing a design. Kathy gave me good advice by suggesting I not cut it small. I had an unsuccessful attempt at designing my own pattern before I decided on this one!
