Hi everyone-in fact, is there ANYONE out here! (LOL)

What an amazing weekend- I really thought this beautiful Melbourne weather was over for sure, and even though this morning was cold our three day weekend has ended finely!

I managed another cycle ride again - three days in a row is almost a record for me! A total of 140km clocked up along Beach Road and the Boulevard. And because my other half had a recent fall I am upholding the cycling tradition.

I have begun putting together my owl quilt but because iPhoto is refusing to co-operate I am unable to post any on-going snaps!(Thye are in the camera, but can't get them downloaded.) I am hoping to start piecing it into rows sometime this week and then I will be sending the sewing machine off for a much needed holiday to the service man.

My next project will involve UFO / quilting projects! I am going to take some lessons on using my much loved Brother machine to do some simple machine quilting. My intention is to finally finish some quilt tops which have been cowering away in cupboards, afraid to show their colourful but unfinished faces.

Finishing my pie quilt (see above) is another projects on the "must -do" list! But more of that next time!
