What do you think?

(I have managed to totally mess this post up- its all back to front! Sorry!)

I tried to fussy cut the fabric, especially the smaller squares surrounded by that cute orange print!
The next design decision to be made is the border. I have taken it back to the girls at Patchwork House for some more advice but couldn't make a definitive choice. I thought maybe I might piece some half-square triangles but don't want to make it too busy. Any suggestions?

I am intending to take this to my favorite machine quilter- Karen @ "Quilts on Bastings" for her to work some magic on it!
Til next time!

I don't think it would be too busy with HST's (half square triangles) because you have the white border inbetween and if the colours pick up those in the main part of the quilt you should be ok.

Try laying out the main part and putting fabrics next to it, step back, see what you think, put some others, etc. You will see you soon form an opinion of what you like.

Sometimes it helps to take a photo. You can see things differently when you have taken a picture rather than look at it in real life. Weird but true!!
